Agricultural trade underpins global food supply networks. Traditionally, moving physical grains or bulk commodities across international borders required layers of brokers and intermediaries. This created hidden margins, stale pricing sheets, fragmented paper documentation, and minimal visibility into cargo location during transit.
Vosbor set out to replace this fragmented model with a direct digital trading platform. The objective was to allow producers, traders, and institutional buyers to discover prices, negotiate contracts, track shipping, and handle regulatory compliance in a unified digital workspace.
The challenge
Engineering a multi-party commodity trading platform presented significant domain complexity:
