SEO/Analytics/SERP Tracking/Digital Marketing

One product for rank tracking, analysis, reporting, and team access

Multi-tenant structure for agencies working across clients and projects

On-demand ranking checks and recurring report workflows

Interactive analytics that turn SERP data into visible performance trends

01

Client context

Search visibility is constantly changing. SEO professionals need to know where a website ranks for important keywords, how those positions move over time, and which changes require attention.

For agencies, the operational problem is broader. Ranking information has to be organized across clients and projects, shared with the right team members, and converted into clear reports. A useful product therefore needs both reliable analytics and the account structure required to support multi-client work.

SerpNest was created as a precision SERP rank tracker for SEO professionals and individuals, with a product foundation that also supports agency-oriented workflows.

02

The challenge

Raw search-result data is not enough. Ranking checks need to be collected and processed consistently, organized by the correct customer and project, and transformed into trends that users can understand.

The product also needed to support different access levels. Agencies and teams should be able to collaborate without exposing every client, project, or administrative action to every user.

Reporting added another layer. Users needed both immediate checks and repeatable ways to communicate performance. The reporting system had to connect directly to current analytics so that reports did not become a separate manual workflow.

03

Elementica's role

Elementica contributed engineering to the scalable SEO analytics and rank-tracking product. The work focused on the web platform and backend foundation required to process and present SERP data, structure multi-tenant access, support reporting, and enable collaboration around search-performance information.

The product was designed as an operating environment for ongoing SEO work rather than as a single-purpose lookup tool.

04

The solution

Structured rank tracking

SerpNest organizes keyword ranking information into a consistent product experience. Users can check current positions and follow changes rather than working with isolated search-result snapshots.

The platform foundation supports the repeated collection and processing required for a product whose value depends on continuously changing external data.

Interactive performance analytics

Ranking data is presented through reports and interactive charts that make movement over time easier to understand. This turns raw positions into visible performance trends that can support SEO decisions and client communication.

Multi-tenant workspaces and role-based access

The multi-tenant model provides separation between customer environments while role-based access controls what each user can see and manage.

This structure is particularly important for agencies and teams working across several clients. It provides one shared platform without flattening every account and responsibility into the same access level.

On-demand checks and recurring reporting

The product supports on-demand ranking checks alongside scheduled and shareable reports. Users can inspect a current result when needed and establish repeatable reporting workflows for ongoing visibility.

Keeping reporting inside the analytics product reduces the need to move ranking information into separate tools before it can be reviewed or shared.

Collaboration around the same source of data

Team collaboration capabilities bring access and reporting workflows into the system where performance is measured. This reduces fragmentation between data review and the people responsible for acting on it.

05

Engineering decisions that mattered

A scalable backend for recurring external data

SERP tracking is a continuous data problem. The backend needed to support repeated checks, historical information, and reporting workflows while keeping the product responsive for users.

Tenant isolation across product workflows

Multi-tenancy was applied to the product structure, not only authentication. Projects, analytics, reports, and user access needed to remain aligned with the correct customer environment.

Analytics designed for communication

The reporting layer was connected to the same underlying performance data as the product dashboards. This helped keep analysis and communication within one workflow.
