Our client develops AI agents around real business processes. Elementica contributed product engineering to the platform initiative behind its Agent Hub, helping shape a reusable environment where organizations can access, configure, monitor, and manage customer-specific AI workflows.
Enterprise AI/Multi-Tenant/SaaS
One product layer for managing multiple custom AI agents
Multi-tenant access for customer-specific workflows and visibility
Configurable process steps with execution logs and results
Administrative oversight of agent usage and outputs
Client context
Our client creates AI agents tailored to real operational processes, with use cases spanning invoice review, customer-service support, proposal creation, and document preparation across sectors such as logistics, trade, and industry.
These agents may need to work with language models, email systems, enterprise storage, search, ERP platforms, and document tools. The business value comes from connecting those technologies to a complete process rather than exposing users to a collection of technical services.
The Agent Hub provides the product environment through which these customer-specific automations can be delivered and managed.
The challenge
Custom AI solutions can become difficult to scale when every workflow is delivered as an isolated interface or one-off implementation. Each customer may have different processes, data sources, permissions, and infrastructure, but the platform provider still needs a consistent way to configure, operate, support, and extend those solutions.
AI workflows can also be opaque to end users. Employees need to understand the process they are using, while administrators need control over settings, access, results, and usage. Without that visibility, even technically capable automation can struggle to become part of day-to-day operations.
The product challenge was therefore larger than connecting an LLM. It required a reusable multi-tenant platform around the AI: interfaces, workflow representation, configuration, logs, administration, integrations, and operational visibility.
Elementica's role
Elementica contributed product-engineering capacity to the Agent Hub and related platform work. The engagement supported the transformation of customer-specific AI workflows into reusable product components that could be delivered through one multi-tenant environment.
Our role focused on the software-product layer surrounding the automations: helping turn process logic into manageable user workflows and supporting the platform capabilities required for configuration, visibility, and continued development.
The solution
One hub for multiple AI agents
The Agent Hub acts as a central environment where a company can access and manage its AI agents. Instead of requiring a separate operating model for every automation, the product creates a common place for users and administrators to work with them.
This shared layer supports growth from one workflow to additional processes, tools, and data sources without replacing the product foundation.
Visual process representation
Process diagrams make the individual steps of an AI workflow visible to users. This gives operational teams a clearer understanding of how work moves through the agent and makes the automation easier to adopt than an opaque input-and-output interface.
The process view also provides a natural structure for adding settings and controls at the correct stage of a workflow.
Configuration and execution logs
Agent settings and connections can be managed through menus associated with individual process steps. The product also provides time-based execution logs and work results.
Together, configuration and logs make the agent more manageable after deployment. Teams can review what ran, inspect outputs, and operate the workflow through the product rather than relying only on technical support.
Multi-tenant access and administration
Multi-tenant access separates customer environments while giving company administrators control over how their teams use AI agents. Managers and department leaders can review results and usage frequency through the hub.
This combines customer-specific delivery with a reusable platform model: each organization receives the workflows relevant to its business while using a consistent administration and product structure.
Connections to business systems and data
The product is designed to connect AI workflows with the systems where operational work already happens, including common enterprise tools and data sources such as email, document storage, ERP systems, and on-premise or cloud servers.
The platform layer gives those integrations a visible place in the workflow, allowing an agent to participate in an end-to-end business process rather than remain an isolated assistant.
Infrastructure aligned with enterprise use
The product is delivered through cloud infrastructure and can be connected to customer environments while minimizing platform access where possible.
For the Agent Hub, infrastructure and access are part of the product experience: organizations need both usable automation and a controlled way to connect it to their operational data.
Engineering decisions that mattered
Productizing the layer around AI
The reusable value lies not only in the model call, but in everything required to make AI operational: permissions, configuration, process state, logs, outputs, integrations, and administration. Treating these as product capabilities made the platform suitable for continued use and expansion.
Visibility for both users and administrators
Process diagrams support employees using the workflow, while logs and usage insights support managers responsible for its operation. Designing for both audiences improves clarity without exposing unnecessary technical complexity.
Reusable structure with customer-specific workflows
The platform balances two requirements: each AI agent is tailored to a real customer process, while the product surrounding those agents remains reusable. Multi-tenancy and configurable process steps provide the structure for that balance.
Integration as part of the workflow
Business-system connections are represented as parts of a process rather than hidden technical dependencies. This makes it easier to understand what the automation needs and what it produces.
